Header to Turbo Exhaust Leak

I have an exhaust leak between the header and turbo. I have a couple of questions:

1) Is there a gasket made that will seal this area? Stock headers, stock turbo.

2) Can I make my own gasket? If so, how?

3) What other options do I have to make this exhaust leak go away?

4) Any suggestions to help with the header/turbo removal? Anti-seize recommendations? Soaking recommendations?

You can get either a T3 or a T4 turbo gasket to fit between the turbo and the exhaust manifold. (not sure which size of the top of my head)

You could make your own using sheet copper but cutting the template is a pain etc. The gasket mentioned is only about $12 I think.

For removal, try WD40 soak overnight. Then heat the bolts and cycle them a couple of times if they don't budge. Be real careful not to strip the stud and have it stick in the manifold. It is a real pain to sort (heli coils etc).

Some people use RTV and sometimes it works. The only foolproof method I have seen on here is to remove ths studs from the header and then re-work the surface of the two flanges. It depends on how much the two contacting surfaces have rusted together. It is clearly a more expensive option.

Don't use a gasket... they typically leak worse.

If you're reasonably sure your flanges are still flat, clean 'em up with spray carb cleaner, and put a thin line of ultra copper RTV silicone on it.

I will be using RTV silicone on the mating surfaces. Does it have to be that specific RTV? Ultra Copper?
