Eviltwin did it in two months start to finish while working full time and going to school, but he's not exactly your average individual.

I would be more concerned about your knowledge to trouble shoot and problem solving, custom stuff always will take extra time than planned. Alot of info is here, not step by step guidlines. It will be up to you to decide how long you think it will take. Also depends on how much funds you have available for such a project.

Well if you eviltwin or danimal a week, back to us normal slackers. I have been working on my for 3 year but I'm also on and budget week to week. Also have the question turbo or na? I have most my time in to exhaust pluming, oil lines and ps lines with the c5 front assembly.

It took me 1.5 moths to do my first swap from having a driving V6 to a driving turbo V8. All my time was spend fabricating stuff and having consistent progression with the project. My second swap took about a year, I did work on it alot less often but we spent most of our time fixing problems instead of finishing things. That's what happens when you buy someone else's project though. If you do your homework and make sure you have the right stuff for the swap, it's easy.
