Hey Guys,
I've been lurking here for a couple of months. And now I've finally made it!
I bought one 93 Typhoon #747 two months ago. The truck sat for 3 years and it needed some TLC and a bunch of finishing touches. The engine ran on 2 1/2 cylinders and made no boost. The exterior was repainted but never wet-sanded and buffed. The interior was missing bits and pieces. And overall, it just needed to be sorted through. Armed with knowledge, tools, and being the fearless risk taker that I am, I bought it low and so far it's paying off.
Known mods:
30 over block/Eagle rods/SRP pistons/Comp 415
Bigger turbo with air to air intercooler
3" downpipe with Magnaflow cat and muffler with turndown
Unknown brand headers
Innovative wastegate
Blitz BOV
Accufab AFPR
Two speed electric fan
A/C delete
Battery relocation
Hypertech airfoil
Poly engine mounts
Lowered suspension
Rear sway bar
C4 Grand Sport wheels 17x9.5 & 17x11
A lot of things were half-assed on this truck, and so far I've enjoyed giving it the much-deserved attention it needed!
My goal is to turn it into one of the nicest Typhoons around and at the same time enjoy the crap out of it on the street and some occasional drag strip fun!
