Options for rear disk conversion?

I am looking to ditch the rear drums and upgrade the front brakes on my Ty. I want something that fits the stock wheel setup and will work decently for drag racing and autocross. Will the LS1 setup work for both front and rear, or should I look at the stainless steel brakes or baer options?

I like the LS1 brakes personally.

You can buy parts (calipers, pads, rotors) off the shelf.
They are proven to work.
They are cheaper.

Do the axles need to come out of the rear diff for the swap? Anyone have part #'s for the swap; brake lines, rortors, calipers, pads etc? Thanks!

Man, if one of the vendors could come up with a rear disk setup that bolted right on, I'd be all over it. Hopefully, this happens someday. I don't have the time or patience to go scrounging through wrecking yards to look for specific rear-ends and what not.
