Just hope no ones truck sank with all the rain going on. A little happy to finally get my truck to pass smog and registered again. So with that in mind! Whens the next meet! Been over 6 months now since ZSki's grad party. So lets have another! If it was at Pauls house, maybe someone would be inclinded to buy some of his great parts he has for sale too! :) Let me know.

My buddy has a GN, if we did that he would love to go. Plus Paul wanted to go sometime too. Anybody live near Cal Speedway? We can do it there then?

I'm down. I have to fix my brake caliper issue I'm having but I should be able to bring the truck out after that. It's not even close to being ready for a track day at the strip. If everybody else went I would definitely show up though. Maybe I could con my pops into letting me bring the Z06! :D

Depending on a date I would head down there. Only if it was a track day though. I go down there often so i just need to know if I need to take the Sy or not. This would be on a weekend correct?

Well yeah! You would have to and I will make sure to bring a bib so not to drool on your truck to much.

How far out are you looking? I could convince cobra198 to take our turbo LS1 Ty down there too if it's finished.

Well, we always end up talking, and then when it actually happens in months later. That is why I am trying now, so when the rainy season is over the trucks will emerge from their cocoons.

Haha....yeah we talk about these a lot. I can't believe we actually managed to put that meet together at your house Brian. Something always come up last minute. I should be able to dig my truck out for a meet soon. It hasn't made one since May 2007 based on a little research I did. Damn I fail! :lol:

I met the announcer on that video at SuperCar Sundays a few weeks ago.....SmokingTire.Com is his online show. His name is Matt and seems to be a pretty cool guy.

Did you guys decide on a meet date and where yet ??:squint:

I meet Matt & his crew,seems cool ,I just wish he would have video shot my runs like he said he was going to.

So I fixed the brake caliper issue on my truck and it's operational again. All it needs is a detail and it should be ready for a meet. If we do a track day, I doubt I will run it. I will try and see if I can get it ready though. Paul will probably ride shotgun with me because his truck is still in the rebuild phase. I'm ready for whatever though. We should do a Bob's Big Boy trip like the old days or something.

I love Bobs!!! There is one right next to my work, but not quite the same as back in Ohio though. Hopefully I can get my new converter in by whenever we get something lined up. I switch work schedules here on the 8th, so I will have off Saturdays now. We should shoot for then! So, since I spoke up first. I nominate Saturdays. How about some more info on those old Bob's trips?

Saturdays work fine for me because I'm off on weekends.

If you search back a few years in this forum, you will see some of our meets. Pretty good photos and turnouts. We met up a few times at the Bob's in Burbank. They have a car meet every Friday I believe and we made one of those as well as a few Saturdays.

I would be interested in meeting up with some So.Cal people. I've had my Ty for about 2 months , still waiting on the silicone vacuum lines so I can tear down and fix everything but driving it around till then periodically. I am in Pomona. Mike

You live really close to me then. If you ever have any questions on these trucks, let me know. I've done most of the stuff required on these. As soon as you get it running, we can check out each other's rides. :tup:
