SOLD: Griffin High Performance Lower Intercooler (CCHE)

I have a large capacity Griffin lower intercooler (CCHE) in great condition for sale. It's wider and twice as thick as the stock unit, and it's pre-mounted to a modified stock metal shroud/support - ready to be bolted on. On my truck cruising on the freeway at 70°F ambient temp, I saw 91-92°F max intake temps, and that was with the stock upper intercooler.

The IC pump bracket has been modified to accept a larger aftermarket pump. The bracket can also handle smaller IC pumps, such as the Johnson or Jabsco pump. The IC pump is not included.

Will this work with the lower intercooler scoops that were sold on here? How thick is the core?

If the lower intercooler scoops mounts to the stock support, then it will work. Not sure how thick the core is since I already boxed it up for shipping. Here are a couple of pictures showing the upgraded intercooler sitting next to the stocker:

Sorry, I don't have the part number written down. Even if the part number is known, I doubt that you will be able to order it since it was a special custom batch from Griffin a long time ago.

They made a custom aluminum radiator for me early last year and I personally visited their warehouse facility to pick it up (they should be in their new location now). Pretty sure they file every job they have ever done for future reference.

Eric, if you wanna try to get a lower IC reproduced, let me know and I will forward you some contact information. My radiator was $589 and thus, I would suspect a lower IC to be $250-300 brand new at the most.

I called them and the said its not a problem to make them at all. A guy named Dan that works at Griffin does all the heat exchangers. They have an online order form and can build anything.

I'm going to wait on the Sportmachines version if there's an update on it. If not ill pull the trigger with Griffin.

Do you have the contact info for Griffin. I need a lower intercooler and want to get one sooner than later and I don't know how long before sportsmachines will start selling theres.

I just called their 1800 number on the website.

Ask for Dan. He said one for our trucks would run about 495 anyway you wanted it. Scoop, fan mounts, heat sheild on top, Etc.
I'm trying to hold out for Sportmachines first too.
