Will they work on a syty? I know the part numbers are not the same, but I have a set of new 2nd gen rotors for a 99 blazer laying around, and was just wondering.

98 and newer blazers have a 11 inch rotor, factory sy/ty is 10-10.5

same bolt patteren, same offset, but i dont think that it will fit without hitting the caliper,

but it's worth a try.

fwiw, i just got done installing 99 blazer front spindles, rotors, and dual piston calipers on my 92 jimmy, and might i say the difference is night and day!!!!

also i installed the rear 11 1/2 inch discs off of the 99, and these plus the fronts, make me feel like im stopping in a vette, not a 4000lb 4 door jimmy.:rotf: :2cents:

Re: 2nd gen S-series brake rotor?

about the same, the only advantages are:....
1. the blazer backing plates have an integral e-brake bracket,

2. the brake line fittings are the same type as stock,

3. and if you want to go back to 15 inch wheels in the winter, or if you have 15 inch wheels now they will fit with thes brakes, (ls1 12 inch wont allow 15 inch, only 16 and larger.)
