Knock sensor bad, replaced, now code 43, CEL and 1.4-1.9 spark retard scan master states

So been troubleshooting poor running under boost. Was retarding the spark terribly high. Did the norm - plugs, wires, distributor, rotor and cap all replaced with good parts. Set the timing - disconnected the tan wire, 0'd out the timing light, set it to 0. Distributor had to be adjusted about 2" from where it was. Fuel pressure is 42# with vacuum disconnected. Tan wire and vacuum to AFPR reconnected. Code 42 was being thrown, so knock sensor was replaced, old one was bent and looked original, 129k miles. New unit installed - ACDelco GM original equipment 213-324 installed. Immediately runs much better. However, immediately has a code 43 and scan master is saying it has 1.4-1.9 of spark retard at all times, even idling. Any ideas? Bad knock sensor maybe? My knuckles can't wait to replace that sensor again if that's the case. Picture is when I was driving it at about 30 mph, and hit it to 15# of boost, retard didn't change. Thank you all in advance. I'm so happy to be back in my Ty and back in the group.

When you replaced the distributor? Did you replace with the proper ICM? Or did one come with the new distributor?

I first replaced the I CM that didn’t fix it so then I replaced the distributor that came with an ICM and of course a cap and rotor so I’ve done both but what’s in there now is what came with the distributor do you think I should replace the ICM with the other one that I had bought?

I would replace it personally and see if it's the culprit. Very possible it's either incorrect or of poor quality.

I have a syclone and I realize not all parts are interchangeable on the two, but I believe these are the same. Hopefully someone can correct if I'm wrong.

The part number you want is ac Delco #d1943a.

You may want to verify the part number for the knock sensor. Rock auto shows AC Delco 213-92. When I replaced the knock sensor in my Ty. I used a Standard and the part number that shows for our trucks is not correct. The knock sensor code came on with it as soon as I installed it. Looked identical to the correct sensor but would not work properly. Tried a different Standard sensor and that corrected the problem.

You may have the correct knock sensor. But I thought that I would mention that we are not always sold the correct part. And if you were you would have that same fault code.
