I have a set of carbon kevlar rotors, with titanium calipers from a c5r race car they are spindle mount so fab work would be required but they are 4lbs a corner 14 inch rotors

I have to ask/hijack thread:

What do you do to have the vast resources that you have? It seems as if you know a great amount as well as have some very weird/hard to find/.would kill to have parts.

Are you the man behind the curtain or what?

This is a rarely known fact, but Ken also played 'the smoking man' in X-Files, the 'architect' in The Matrix, and he was the stunt-double for Kim Peaks in 'Rain Man'.

Im the man behind the curtain, the wind benith your wings, the alpha and the omega, ying and yang, basically just a guy who knows alot of people and does alot of dumpster diving, Heck a real good buddy works for a company that makes cart cars, lots of cool carbon stuff there

would you mind taking a picture of those brakes and posting it? I am wondering how hard it would be to mount them. Mounting those brakes on a syty would be a pretty big waste, but maybe on a kit car or worked up vette.

they are spindle mount one HUGE bolt in the center Im trying to get the wheels that go with them I understand the brakes are useless with out the matching wheels

Pretty much not quite that badass, if I can get the spindles and wheels they could be used on a 2wd application

I've got a CF brake rotor that looks something like that.

Really, all you'd need to do is have somebody fab the hub... the rotor part just bolts to it.

They are freakishly light.

just stop eating those hawaiian pizzas and lose weight yourself. either that or lose the front brakes altogether and cut a hole in your floorboard and do the flintstone stop. :rotf:

I have been saying this for years. It is far easier and cheaper to lose weight in the pilot then it is to lose it in the car and it is more healthy to boot.

This is what I was looking for:
Jegs part # 921-9850-6501...5x4-3/4 bolt circle...7/16" wheel studs...$71.99
US brake rotors.
They claim 2.75lbs lighter then stock...that's good rotating mass weight.
Will this fit our application???
