Ok, thanks for the lesson in odd engines. and YES, live and learn, speed costs money .. etc etc.
If all is well the time slips for 9, even low 9 vill come fast then.
Gona be fun se if U or Ed goes down with the realy low 9´s first this year. and even Who´s gona break the 8 barriere again..
because its not power only that will do that..
The whole package have to funktion for that.

Seems like most of this has been cleared up, but I will reiterate some of the problems in KC.
From day one the truck has always had a nasty popping higher in the RPM range. No matter who tuned the truck it could not be tuned out. In KC the same issue was occuring, but in a much more pronounced way to the point that we were spending all our time trying to figure it out and if it appeared as though we were giving the cold shoulder I apologize.
The overall outcome in KC was a pushed headgasket due to a bad headgasket choice to begin with. The other issue in KC was safety related with the truck's steering giving too much feedback at speed much like a tank slapper on a bike. This was the cause for feathering the throttle on some of the runs. It just wasn't meant to be on that day for the truck so it was pack it up and head home to redesign.
Upon teardown and testing the valve spring rates John found that the springs were to weak for a turbocharged application and this was the cause of the popping up top due to the valves floating. After rebuilding the motor and trying to turn the motor over with different dished pistons it was found that yes indeed the motor had a even fire cam in an oddfire motor. A new cam was selected and installed and the motor was installed. This explained why the passenger side manifold would never register heat like the driverside.
Since getting the truck running the other issue of the tank slapper steering still needed resolved. We have not dynoed or race the truck at this time due to not having that issue resolved, however I believe John has figured that out as well, which is why Aaron (or his daughter?) was given a ride in the vehicle.
Everyone is past KC last year and Michigan is to far for Bully Syclone to make an appearance at Home Coming, however we will plan to run at Truckfest here in Colorado and post whatever results there are.
With any luck I will post a video of something more than a keychain and will try not to scream like a girl, but who knows.

That truck is amazing! I remember drooling all over it back 3-4 years ago when I first saw it at TruckFest.
I'll be making TruckFest this year to watch.
