Wow, what beautiful craftsmanship....wait, let me wipe the drool off my keyboard..

Does anyone know if Wilson has done any work with trumpets on the inlet runners? Looks like there's enough room in there to give them a try if deemed necessary or applicable.

I look at that thing and just have to laugh. ?? On the one hand you've got gorgeous piece of work and on the other is my Vortec modded stocker that's gonna cost a few beers for the welding and a C note for the machining.

Yes, I plan on being there and making passes assuming I haven't broken it before then. :myclone:

Nah I hope the Badnewz guys do run in the 8's competion is a great thing and will inspire others. :tup:

I do know something about the Badnewz truck. It has a Trick Powerglide trans adapted to his transfer case. The trans mods and adapter were made by the kid who can't weld straight Jeff Scott!

I think Mike will be the first US awd truck in the 8's and here is why. He has Dan at DLS doing the engine so he will have the combination to make big power. He has been racing in the Turbo Buick community for years so this won't be his first rodeo. He seems to be very persistence and is a true racer. Mike good luck in 2009 with the Syclone. Oh, nice intake.

Actually not the same truck your thinking Jeremy. Although that adaptor does exist and was sold to another sy project with some goals. I don't think it ever got finished and probably collecting dust right now.

There's already a nice radius on the inlets... you really don't want to elevate the runners off the floor of the manifold.

This is very, *very* nicely done.
