Re: Has anyone changed from AWD to RWD? Probably get rid of the diff to save weight and maintainence. So do I need any extra parts or just break it down to the outer joint and then stop? How could I seal that joint from dirt and debris? Have one of those too.. :)

I'm just curious if it has been done, if it can be done, and how hard it is to do? I'm just thinking if that would reduce any maintainence headaches and/or improve gas mileage.... I know I said gas mileage--please no flames. I just might drive often it more if the mpg was a little better...

it is stovk suspension that someone has lowered by heating or cutting springs I think. --no coil-overs. JohnC
