What should I get? I am just looking for a good stock replacement that will give me adequate back pressure so I no longer have overboost.

I have a 92 Typhoon that is stock other than an aftermarket intercooler pump and 3" ATR exhaust. The previous owner removed the cat. converter and disconnected the boost control solenoid. I am unsure if he played with the wastegate at all. I have connected the solenoid back up. The truck cuts...

Re: Weird Intake/Engine Problem.... I live in Swanton, Ohio 43558. I know the truck is overboosting. I think to fix it will require a cat. to be installed and possibly the wastegate needs adjusting. Am I correct?

Re: Weird Intake/Engine Problem.... It acts up around 4000 RPM; it could act up at 3700 or 4300. It does have the stock boost gauge. No fuel guage. I am unsure how to check the wastegate. It has had a recent tune-up. I do not think it has a Cat. How likely is that the problem?
