got her running....dont know exactly what i did to finally start it, but it runs... :drinking: it runs smooth now at idle and rumbles my whole shop...apparently, my muffler was eliminated in its last life and it's a very deep sound...i finally got to check out the engine...never heard it run...

thanks for the replies... ok, one more stupid question...if the keyless entry bundle is cut, could that possibly keep the truck from generating spark? i did the MSD troubleshoot, and when i ground and unground the msd trigger wire, i get massive spark...but when i crank the engine, i get...

is it also a security system?

i used chassis black with rust inhibitor..so it says...more of a repair job than a restoration job...just wanna get the ty in the shape that it was prior to the big hit...im not in the autobody business, so this is a first frame job for me(a 30 yr. experienced body man works for me...
