Id really like it if sy/tys stayed around teh current price range for at least another year or two, so I could get one or two.. :D

1078 total Cobras were made. So, even though the car market and collector car market is much bigger nowadays, don't hold your breath for a million bucks for your SyTy.

Still, a good idea to:
- avoid mods that can't be reversed (even a thoughtfully modded truck, while worth more NOW, will be worth less later).

- Keep those original parts!

- maintain, restore, and maintain some more.

ok
it appears that the fewer made the more they will be worth.

So what this means to you is (dale carnegie grduate thing, you had to attend to understand that one) If you own a ty your probably going to be shit outta luck because the guys who own the lesser produced sy's are going to have trucks that are worth more cuz theres less of em.

Sorry to give you guys that bought tys instead of sys the bad news.

Now what this also means is you guys with the tys can continue to bitch about how much people are selling tys for because it doesnt matter anyway since they wont be worth as much as a sy. However as you can understand now you should stop bitching about the value of the sy's because they are actually a pretty good deal now at any price.

and with that said i getting the BLEEP outta here cuz if that doesnt piss off half the people around here ....... :D

I didnt buy my Ty because I hoped it would be worth a million dollars. I bought it because it is a badass truck and fun as hell to drive. The looks on peoples faces when they see it launch is what its all about. If you want to invest, invest in the stock market. It has increased an average of 13% every year for the passed 80 years including the depression.

That's why folks bought Cobras back in the '60s, too. Nothing wrong with that. I enjoy stomping Mustang ass, myself. My point is, if you play your cards right, you might be able to have your cake and eat it, too.... just like the Cobra owners, but on a smaller scale.... or maybe not. Collectors may never value our trucks, so definitely a good idea to enjoy the performance.
