Re: need help.... misfiring ok I replaced the ignition coil and I am still getting a misfire..... I think it is a misfire .... the problem is that it is very sparatic.... sometimes when you step on it it will take off fine ... other times you can step on in and it will bog for a couple seconds...

Re: Tach stopped working... Help the only think I can think of is after I installed the coil I forgot to put the coil wire back on when I went to start it ... it arced a couple time before I relized it .... could this have shorted anything out in the process???? what do the 2 moduals in front...

Re: need help.... misfiring cap and rotor were changed. its a fairly new battery (cranks fast on start up). will check for vacuum leaks. Plugs Denso Platinums .... wires Duralast. also is it normal for the stock tach to jump around like this?

I have a 93 ty with 30,000 miles .... compleatly stock I notice some hesitation in 2nd and 3rd mostly.... when it hesitates the tach jumps all over and sounds like it is pinging after boost builds. I just put new plugs and wires in. I am running premimum gas. any ideas what could be causing...
