thats becuase his truck basically drives itself w/ all the gadgets and doodads he has in it :lol:

next year the thing will probably transform into a robot and run down the track :p

hey didnt you say something to me a few weeks ago about me catching up to you. :D

looks like i got some good props at the forum for atco GDR site.

the photographer there has some good shots he said will be up on monday.

listen you guys the real reson this thing is running what it is not becuase of my tuing abilities.

It is all because of Harry Anderson's tuning abilities and his knowledge of these trucks. I learned a long time ago that harry knows what he is talking about and there is no bs when he tellls you something. What is important is i listen to him and do what he tells me.

The last thing i said to him last nite was: What do you want me to do know.

Most everytime we get together is like this. Harry is my tuner and without him there would be a lot of frustration, wasted money, wasted time on my part.

If anyone should be congratulated its harry!

yeah it may be my money and time putting it together but withoput harry teaching me none of this would have happend.

what i am saying is i got the truck to 11.9 reading here.

the improvements since then are because of harry.

If you all knew how much time harry gives me to help me out ....you wouldnt beleive it.

Any of you local guys want to start going faster. you get with harry!

as i said this is a gt40 non bb unit, so yes it is very slow to spool.

Plan is to change this out once the gt40r is released.

If i were to continue with this spool rate i will be learning to build boost by:

prestage
build boost to like 5 psi or so.
stay on throttle
then bump in to turn on bottom light.
then get on throttl the rest of the way so it hits the rev limiter before the bottom amber.

what you see in the video i am just sitting there until i hear the rev limiter so forget about reaction time till we change the unit and or i stage diferently.

great run!!! that truck looked as if it was launched by a slingshot...i wish i could go for a ride in it, or better yet, drive it... :D

I was thinking of showing the Supra there with my For Sale sign in the window to get some attention and I would REALLY love to see a truck while there! Tomorrow we will be with the NASE Jr. team not sure what spot they were reserved today.....just look for the guy that installs those big pipes.... :lol: :lol: :lol: hehe Would love to seeya tomorrow we'll be there tomorrow and sunday, I'm actually running late, wished I coulda got out of here on the caravan with Vinny Ten this morn. :x And that would be a HELL NO on bringin my syclone to the meet....you'd have to hit me pretty hard over the head....to get me to buy one.....working on em's BAD ENOUGH. :D

Dude, I know my truck has a 10 in it - absolutely! Drove it last Saturday and it flat-out flies! I just gotta get there and do it - in better weather.

cant tell ya!
because after the 1st run my dash gauges circuit took a dump

1st run we got a datalog ..... dont know why after that none of the other runs datalooging woulndt work but connection to dfi was still working.... something odd going on that i havent sorted out yet. gauges fuse popped and the 2nd fuse popped also. I got some work to do to find this. however i dont thinki made any connections to that oem circuit as everyting else still works......

oh but i can tell you it was under 6000 as the dfi rev limiter for top end is set to 6200 but the saftey in it as i have been told makes it kick in 200 rpm lower so it had to be under 6k as i never heard the rev limiter kick in at the traps.
