That was sweet!

What are the mods on that truck?

How much boost was built for the launch?

SWEET. Looks stock, laying down solid 11's.

Put a serious whooping on that riced out SN85 next to you to!

Nice truck, gotta love the AWD crab around when you have traction issues. Looks like it may be a bit of a challenge to launch, but a lot of fun.

Nice, this makes me feal a little better about my 2bolt bottom. As i hope of seeing an 11 out of this motor.

Merk....a lot of trucks do this with a converter that locks up @ WOT. My truck will hit 3rd and lockup at the same time @ WOT and while it may sound like it's under-rev'ing, it's not. In fact, it hauls much more ass than the sound gives away. Even some stock trucks I've done with modified TCC code on higher stall converters will sound exactly the same.

NICCCCEEEE..... Great video work also! damn you can actually see it nice and smooth and not all grainy.

I could see your tires spinning on that awsome launch... can't wait to get my truck back, should be in the 10.s

Enjoy that beast.

Hmmm you know I watched that again several times and it really sounds like it's shiftin into 3rd to quickly and bogging down a little bit, or maybe it's just me?

Ditto, my truck sounds the same: http://www.northeastsyty.com/videos/TY2185_NESYTY_Vids/NESTE2004Vids/MikeC.wmv I have a TCC lock up switch and arm it once I stage. All the "safety" mods, Ultimate chip, stock motor, turbo, built trans and a 3K Hughes TC.

You're hearing the lockup. It automatically locks up at about 70mph (which is a little bit after it shifts into 3rd). It goes down to about 3500rpm and there's a ton of torque at that rpm.

LOL.... Thats awesome.. I never did get this to work right on my truck before the demise of the motor.. But hopefully when the new one goes in..

And we wonder why the 700r4 seems to have such a limited life span in these trucks sometimes... there is probably alot of this

going on inside it !!
