i saw a travel channel special on vegas.
the showgirls are awesome :eek: :eek:
nats in vegas would be great.
sucks for naste, mofo, and fast :x

I'll go but I am comin truckless if it really is in Vegas.

Gonna be a great nats when everyone heads their separate directions to go to the casinos, clubs and shows.
Hopefully someone leaves a truck or 2 at the hotel for us to oogle over.

Hell....I'll be there....only 300 miles away.....so what's that only about 3-5 hours away....depending on traffic :wink:

although, i'll probably just save my money and not come at all....

i goto nats to see trucks and the people who own them, not to see an empty parking while everyone is more interested in gambling and seeing showgirls.

sounds like a blast. yah. :roll:

if all u want to do is gamble, come to NJ. we can have the Nats during the day, and gamble at night :) plus i can promise at least 40 trucks just from the area :)

Yeah what they said. I liked GB because we had a place to autocross,camp and buildings for when it rained. I could care less what is surrounding where we have it. As long as there is a place to sleep and food to eat and a track to race at it is good. IF YOU WANT A FAMILY VACATION GO ON A FAMILY VACATION IF YOU WANT TO GO SEE SHOWS,GAMBLE,ETC.ETC. GO TO VEGAS
If you want to have a SyTy nats then it should revolve around the best track,
hotel,and food. Who gives a shit about what else is around. And going truckless isn't a option Jas' :D What if everyone did that?

Yeah Vegas I'll be there!!!! Vegas Is awesome I was just there last weekend had a blast... Well Vegas is referred to as Sin City ( prostitution, gambling, drinking in public LEGAL!!!)

Why not just call it a Sy/Tyless vegas GTG. That's all Vegas would be.

Have the Sy/Ty nationals in a place where a lot of Sy/Ty's will show up.

This Vegas thing is almost beginning to sound like a sy/ty OWNER get together. There will be almost no trucks there. I would try to go ( also without my truck ). Vegas is just too awesome not to go. I went last November for the first time. I really had no desire to go at all. Now that I went I definately will be going a few more times!!! :crazyeye:

I don't think Vegas would be the ideal place for Nats. It would be OK, but there are places that are better. Some people just want it there because it's in their backyard and they are too lazy to travel or don't want to spend any money. And November? Are you serious? None of us from the northern states or Canada will be there, see up north we have this thing called snow, that is usually on the ground and our trucks are long in storage by this time of year. I'd say either Denver or Nashville in September. Nationals needs to be somewhere centrally located so EVERYONE can go. You west coast guys are complaining about the drive. East coast guys don't have it any better? The only way to make it fair for everyone is to have it centrally located in the country. Either that or we have an "eastern nationals", "west coast nationals", midwest nationals" and pretty soon we have 15 different nationals with 12 trucks at each one. Whats the point? And I'm not saying this just so I don't have to drive farther or whatever. My local track would be PERFECT for nats, sweet track, lots of hotels, tons of stuff for families to do, but Minnesota is not in the middle of the country so it'd never fly. We should look at whats practical for everyone before we just select a place and run with it.

The decision was made buy someone in FL someone in CO and someone in CA I just agreed to help, I tried to call it West Coast Nats but was over ruled.

I drove or trailered my SY to the last 3 Nats and the wife and I plan to be in KC this year with or without a truck.

IMO GB is the best place for the SYTY Nats, but a great record setting track with huge paved pits in Nov. NV weather would be a close second.

2002 was to the right
2003 will be central
2004 looks like there will be one to the left

The Buick guys do it in BG and NV seems to work for them.

I like the nationals in Kansas City bc it it right in the middle of everything and gives everyone about the same distance to travel weather you are in cali or new jersey i also live only 10 minutes away from the double tree hotel where the event has been held so that probably effects my opinon.

they have more than 2 events form what I have been told buy my buick friends. BG, NV, and Bristol seem to ring a bell just for 3........i think there might be one more also.
