The 2006 Portland Hot Rod and Custom Show is coming up February 17th-19th. I am entering my truck into the show and am hoping some of the PNW guys can enter their toys in the show or come by. I will be there each day and hope to see/meet some of you there. Let me know if you are entering or are coming by. The entrance fee is $50 (deadline is tomorrow) but well worth the price of admission. There is also the Portland Roadster Show coming up the first weekend of March.

Steve, Sorry I didn't get to meet but I know we will meet someday for sure. The Marlboro looked great. I liked seeing both you and Sarah listed as owners on the information card. Let us know how the judging turned out. There were a lot of people hanging around it. It took a few minutes to get a picture without people standing around it.

Thanks Mary for the compliments and going to the show. I was VERY happy with the outcome... we somehow got 3 awards!!
Plaques:
(1) "Oustanding Chassis"
(2) "Outstanding Paint (subcategory) Truck"...last year we won the "Outstanding Paint for a Muscle Car"
Trophy:
...the one we are most proud of...a sweepstakes award...best Truck of show....the trophy is close to Sara's hieght!
We had a good time. We are hoping to head to a syty gathering this summer in the PNW (if we have one) and a few more (smaller) shows. Next year, we are hoping to do the Portland Hot Rod and Custom Show and the Portland Roadster Show. Honestly, I could care less about the awards, money, and trophies....our ultimate satisfaction is from others learning about our trucks. I am thinking of getting some syty.net poster up in my display. Any/all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
