If you replace the 2bar with the 3bar you need to update your chip correct????

yes, it would be wise to update your chip.


Although, if you have a 3 bar and a 3 bar chip, be sure to keep your 2 bar close by... in an emergency situation, you can put in a 2 bar and be in limp mode to be able to still drive your truck home or to a safe location.
