I can give you some programs to start with Barry, but the testing is really for those with the stock motor & bolt ons..

email me

Hey Brian,
I'd be interested in testing this setup. I have the ATR stuff, TE44 with the Precision exhaust housing, Conley IC, U Chip, 36lb blue tops, 2800 stall TC, Steve C. alcohol inj., and all the right gauges. I go to the track as much as possible. One of our tracks is open now. Let me know, I'm very interested.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Can you tell me about your TE44? I have one on my truck, but am interested in getting the exhaust housing you have. Mine has an integral WG, and an adapter that allows it to bolt up to the stock downpipe. Are you using a stock downpipe on your setup?
Are you running a external WG?
From what I have seen the PTE's integral WG requires the use of their downpipe.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
I have the complete ATR setup with their 3" downpipe. It has the ATR external Wastegate. As far as the housing goes I was told that the truck would pick up 2 tenths and 2 mph. Actually I lost 2 tenths and 2 mph?!?! It might be due to some other issues so don't nix the idea of their upgraded exhaust housing yet, I will get some more tuning and track time in and let you know.. You are probably best off talking to PTE as to what they recomend with their system.

BRIAN,
So what do you say as to me being a Beta tester....yes..no..maybe..fagettabotit??

Thanks,

Mike

Sorry for lack of response, too many things going on as usual.

Yah sure Mike. I'll respond to your email.

PTE builds many different exhaust housings.
The ATR setup is meant to use the 3 bolt Buick housings. It will accept either the Garrett or the PTE 3 bolt housings. PTE made the large 4 bolt housing specifically for Syty's, to fit the PTE downpipe, BUT it DOES fit the ATR downpipe setup as well. You have to open a few holes on the downpipe to exhaust housing flange, but it fits. This is a big deal as the 3 to 4 bolt adapter is a POS and will either leak or self destruct in time.

Almost every decent Buick combination I've seen that went from a Garret housing to the PTE housing made gains, if you didn't it could be due to several reasons.. but I really think using it is a good move.
