What about 20W50 thats what I put in the Z. I thought with a turbocharger it was better to have a thicker oil.

The dual numbers tell you the way the oil performs at different temperatures. 5w30 performs like 5-weight at colder temperatures for easier start-up , and also like 30-weight at higher temperatures. Not that it gets thicker, it just performs the way a 30-weight oil would at higher temperatures.

the mobil one you need to get is the silver cap that has the zddp in it,and it has the highest breakdown temp of any oil out there,new tests in the marine industry are all using mobil v twin oil now.But oil is a big topic,but for me all my cars get mobile one and i will never change,as i have never had a oil related prblem ever,and i know the diesel oil is more common now,but the v twin mobile 1 has the best test numbers out there so far.

If you read the instructions that the oil filter companies took time to print on the side of the filter it actually says do not prime!
I would take your truck back to the shop and have them change your oil to the 10w30 thats what your owner manual says, thats what your truck needs. Then watch them put in either 10w30 out of the bottle or they should pour it out of a large container, they should not be pumping it out of a gun very few oil change facilities have synthetic in bulk tanks.
