I talked to my brother who is on the market for a Ty and he said he wants to get some more info about the truck. Drop me a PM so we can discuss specifics and the price. And I am also curious why the brake booster appears all rusty? Was it replaced with a non painted one that rusted? Let me know.

Thanks,

Thanks very much.

I always wondered about that belt since the tensioner pointer didn't sit in the right place after I installed it. I wonder if the parts clerk gave me the wrong one.

Thanks,

PM sent.

The brake booster was replaced in 2002, as part of a shop's attempt fix to a soft brake pedal (the problem actually turned out to be the ABS unit). It's painted silver but apparently not well enough, since it has some surface rust on it.

Back on the market

Back on the market

I had what seemed to be a serious buyer for the truck, but after nearly a month of looking for financing and arranging the deal, he backed out at the last minute (2 hours before we were going to meet at the bank and transfer the title).

Anyway, it is for sale again.

The registration came due in the mean time, so it's paid through May 2010.

Bump...

It's still for sale. I got an offer of $11k, which seemed a bit low for this mileage and condition.

Hi IJ --

I met you a few years ago at a few sy/ty meets. Sorry to hear you're selling the ty. I still have mine.

Good luck on the sale.
