'92 Typhoon F/S in Texas

Hi all,

The Air Force is moving me to England this Fall and I can only take one car with me. :( I have to sell my Typhoon. It has 99K original miles, stock block, stock turbo, Borla exhaust, STG 3 Bar Ulimate Chip, AFPR, Walboro 255Ltr/hr pump, AFPR, 1.25" sway bar, a custom Dana front prop shaft, VDO Turbo and Tranny temp gauges, Autometer Fuel Pressure Gauge, a Lotek Pillar pod, Kenne Bell fenderwell cold air kit, Derale deep transmission pan, and new tires just to get started. I have been extremely anal about saving all the original stuff that I have removed in case you want to return it to original configuration.

The interior is in excellent shape, but the exterior of the truck could use a repainting. The original color is Apple Red on Argent Gray. If you would like to discuss please e-mail me at jaytranum@hotmail.com or jason.tranum@navy.mil. (Yes, I know I have a navy address. I'm an Air Force guy stationed at a Navy base.) I don't have time to surf the forums much these days so it's easier to reach me via e-mail.

Thanks,
Jay Tranum

Re: '92 Typhoon F/S in Texas

I was stationed at Moody AFB for about three years. I guess I need to update my profile.
I've been to the drag strip there a couple of times and have the timeslips.

I'm not too good with posting pics, but I'll give it a shot. Someone may have to give me a quick tutorial on how to post them here. I have a bunch I can send via e-mail.

The book value (according to Kelly Blue Book online) for a private party price for a "good condition" truck is $11,875. I'd like to keep it in that area.

I like using http://www.imageshack.us/ because you can upload
images w/o signing up for an account, and they provide the code
that you need to copy-and-paste to put a thumbnail on the forum
that links to a full size image.

Many thanks Scott. I wonder if it has something to do with my settings:

Re: '92 Typhoon F/S in Texas

OK, I've uploaded them to image shack. Waiting on the code to be e-mailed....waiting.....waiting....waiting......

While I'm waiting I thought of some more stuff:

Rancho 5 way adjustable shocks (I know, I hate them too but I like the adjustable part.) and I bought a brand new PST urethane front end for it that I haven't had a chance to install. It goes with the truck too.

I bought the truck in August of '99 and have owned it since. The best I can tell I'm about the third owner. I bought it from a guy in Virginia....

Just checking in to freshen my post. My truck is still for sale in Corpus Christi, but the Air Force has decided to move me to Tucson, AZ instead. I'm no longer in a hurt locker to sell it, but will if the offer is right. E-mail me at the above addresses.
