Selling my very clean '92 GMC Typhoon. It's one of the cleanest trucks around of it's kind, with about $10k in tasteful modifications for street and performance drivability and 82k miles on the clock. Selling only because I don't have room for as many cars as I've got; I love this truck. It's lived its whole life in California; garaged and covered. I have all the details and more pictures upon request. Please PM me with questions or interest. Looking for $17,500 or reasonable offer; possible trade for Electron Blue 02-04 Z06.
A few details: I've done the JS coil-over kit up front, with all tubular upper and lower control arms, paired with 13" Baer Track brakes. The rear leaf springs are custom built fiberglass composite springs with adjustable Koni shocks. I have gotten rid of a good amount of clutter underneath the hood, while maintaining the amenities like the air condition. It has a PTE60 Dual Ball Bearing Turbo and 3" stainless downpipe. It's one of the preferred high-dollar turbos that will allow use of the stock torque converter. It has the rare and desirable Borla stainless exhaust and a high-flow catalytic converter. I also upgraded the intercooler from the water-to-air, to the RPM air-to-air kit. It also has 50 lb. injectors matched with the "Phil Long" chip, dual electric fans, dual relocated Odyssey PC680 gel-cell batteries w/ Morosso kill switch, Razors alky/meth injection, an auxiliary transmission cooler, a B&M lockup torque converter controller, SBC ID III boost controller, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump 17" ZR1 wheels on Z-rated ZRi's with most of their life left, likely several other small things I'm forgetting, and lots of love. The paint shines great and the interior is absolutely excellent. This is an excellent truck to either drive daily, or keep under the car cover and take out on the weekends.
