ABS and Brake warning light

I just drove my SY this morning and parked it for 4 minutes on a slight downhill. When I jumped back in and started the truck, the brakes were very spongy.and the ABS/Brake warning light came on. I pumped the brake pedal a couple of times on flat ground and it got better. When I arrived home I checked the brake master cylinder and it was low on fluid so I filled it up to the proper level. Now the brake pedal has good firm feel again as it should. My problem is that the warning lights on the dash are still on. How do I re-set the warning lights?

Sounds like there is air in the anti lock part of the system. Time for a fluid change.

Uh I believe you NEED the tech 2 scan tool to bleed the whole abs system. So you would have to do it at the dealer unless you have a tech2. Correct me if I'm wrong. Reset the abs system comes to mind also.

Nope. 3 ABS depressor clips... all you need. And a second person helps.

The biggest mistake is how you push the pads into the system during a pad change. You relieve the pressure by breaking open the caliper bleeder screw, pushing the piston back in, then closing the bleeder screw. Doing it the way you've always done it (forcing the piston back in), will push crap into the micro-screens in the ABS unit.... *boom* dead ABS.
