how well does the air condition in your trucks, im looking to buy a sy with 35K miles and it gets hot here in the summer and i wanted to know how well the a/c works

Its different for all trucks, sit in it and try.

My Sy AC is more than adequate. My guess is the AC is designed for the Typhoon sized interior, so the AC for the Sy truck cab is overdesigned.

more than likely the compresor will be leaking on a vehicle of this age. Replace with a rebuilt and go with the 134a freon. A/C works great on mine! Omaha, NE . Up to 100 degrees + and 95% humidity.
