Aluminum driveshaft

Does anybody know of a place that sells a aluminum driveshaft for a Tyhpoon? Or do I have to have it made? Also if i install a aluminum driveshaft, would it be a problem to run the factory propshaft?

Call up DynoTech, the original makers of our propshaft.

I have an alum DynoTech and really like it. Light as hell, and no vibration issues what so ever. And yes, you can still run the factory propshaft as well without prob, I did for at least 2 years.

heck with alum, go carbon about same price and lighter and no need for a loop.

NHRA what do they know ? IMO you dont need one and if they say you do then if you wanna be legal then you better get one. maybe they will catch up with technology and find out it's not needed.

current price for the CF shaft is 600 shipped.

Hey is that a price drop? It used to be that you didnt need one but the part that said composets dont require one is gone.

na no price drop same as it's been for a while now. I think it was 550 on the first run I did on about a dozen or so of them. it's 600 now and should be for the forseeable future but like all materials cost have been goin it may go up, dunno till I order another one.

ahhh rules are made to be broken
