As title states, we need at least 10 to join in for production to start on these! Info is below and will add link to previous Groupbuy. Previous thread here: http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=55809

Who likes to have an aftermarket upgrade / replacement for their stock lower IC radiator?

radiator core: 21 1/2" x 8"x 3" all aluminium bar and plate design, as pictured. I still can send a pdf file with "A how to install guideline with pics" to anyone by E-mail, let me know asap.

Some specs and comments about its performance from others who already installed the UPGRADED LOWER CAC can be found here:
http://www.syty.net/forums/showpost....&postcount=181
http://www.syty.net/forums/showpost....94&postcount=4

What you get:
- The radiator core: about 21 1/2" x 8"x 3" all aluminium bar and plate design, as pictured
- two 3/4" hose connections
- 3/8" connection hole for aftermarket level sensor (sensor not included ) because of, the OEM factory non functioning level indicator on the dash, the level sensor hole can be ignored and plugged. For the people who have made a functioning level indicator, they have to replace it with a 3/8"sensor for their purpose.
- Drain (This tab is not in the pictures because I didn't have that option at that time).
- A how to install guide with pics, sent to you by email.

What is the price on this if this group buy goes through? I'd be interested in getting in on this given how hot coastal Georgia summers can get.

Not sure, I know that he had mentioned to me in messages that he can only get minimum of 10 at a time hence while we need at least 10. Hopefully he can chime in on the approxiate cost.

So Far:

1. Myself
2. Dr.Gixxer

Re: Another Dutchty Lower CAC Groupbuy

The only info I could find on a price in the old GP thread was $283.25 + shipping for cost. Is this still a good number if this GP gets enough interest? If it still a good price, then you can put me down for one, too!

Hi Guys

Just chiming in.
Vader Sy and Dr.Gixxer asked if I had some left.
But got none and dont have the time to setup a GP again in short time period.
So I said that VaderSy can setup a new thread to gather guys who also wanted a lower CAC radiator.
The mentioned 283,25 here above was a 2008 price and for 20 pieces.

I just sent Vader Sy a message about pricing as is below

I just dont know how much the aluminium cores will cost :2cents: at the moment.
sorry:oops:
But let say that they are the same price as before 290,00 for the alu radiator fabricated.
But add some costs cause of metal exchange of aluminium price rised in value since last time +/- 15 bucks
But really don't know exactly, so it could be 305,00 for a complete heatexchanger ex shipping/fees.
but it also could be just the 290,00 as before.

Just havent time to find out exactly since I work far from home for a longer period to arange something.
When it will be much more/less I let guys know asap but will take a while:tup:.

Go ahead and move me from tentative to I'm in for this. Not a bad price to pay for increased cooling, IMO.

I know Matt, but just inform at Wallers who is a member here
he has some good cooling uppers like ATR, dont know the costs though:2cents: I know it was about 600 bucks.
When I have to startup the uppers with the heavy cores and shippingcosts I think that when they arrive at your place they will be a lot of:2cents::2cents::2cents::2cents::roll: you won't appriciate, sorry.
I've looked into this but the upper garret W/A cores are already around 400 $$$$. usefull to 700HP

Re: Another Dutchty Lower CAC Groupbuy

I think you meant you will be in for one.

I actually meant "If the cash is in my car fund when you start the group I'm in". The engine I bought for the Bel Air drained what was left in the car fund so I have to start saving.

Re: Another Dutchty Lower CAC Groupbuy

I'm interested, but need to see what the shipping would bring the total up to. Shipping to IL 60192?

We had discussed that including shipping would be around 290 ish range. PM Dutchty for more info though.
