Anyone Live Close To Milpitas/Sanjose Area

Hey guys, I just got my Ty about 2 weeks. I like the truck alot but its a new thing to me. I came from the Import world. I use to own a 1991 galant VR4, i was into Road Racing. This is the first turck/Suv i have ever owned. I was wondering if anyone in here lives close by Milpitas/SanJose area maybe we could shoot the shit grab a beer :drinking: and talk SyTy.

i'm in burlingame....i could help u out but i do can't get into bars...only 18..now if u have a 12pack of coronas at your house thats a different story.. :D

Yeah, he can sit and watch you drink 'em, cause he's underage and everything.....we wouldn't want to promote anything illegal.... :wink:

Hey congrats on the new purchase. My name is Tom Dowd and I live off of Hwy 85 and Camden in SJ and I own a 93 TY. It was in the StreetTrucks November 03 issue. Where in San Jose are you? I am having our 6th annual SY/TY party at my house in July. You have to make it. My Ty is down now with w/a blown motor but a new motor is being built by RPM in So Cal and when it is completed in late June it is suppose to be the Fastest all wheel drive TY in the country according to Mike Lee aka "ghettosled". It will have over 800HP and over 1,000 foot pounds of torque.

Get back to me so we can hook up for a beer or 12 at one of my two bars at my house and I can check out your TY.

I'll be in Monterey from May 26 to June 2 if anybody is having a get together. I'll be doing the tourist thing in the Bay Area that weekend I'm sure, but I'll drive anywhere within a few hours.

Lets shoot for Saturday the 29th or Sunday the 30th for sure. It would be cool to have our out of town guest show up. If this works for everyone, let me know and I'll get all of you some easy directions to my place. If the weather is nice bring your suits so we can hang out at the pool or at one of my two back yard bars :eek: . My Gazeebo bar overlooks the pool and we can drink pleanty of cold ones there and watch any type of sporting events on my TV surround system. This year I have it hooked up to Direct TV so it is pretty cool 8) . We can then order some pizzas if that works for everyone.

Looking forward to meeing you guys.

p.s. If you want to bring your wife or girlfriend, please do.
