Screw the so called 'purists'.. Most of them dont even know how to gap a spark plug.

I like the mod, even though it was in place when you bought the truck I still think its hella cool.. And for you to allow someone to reverse engineer it for others to copy thats even more :tup:

I just hope someone takes you up on it before it gets re-assembled. I'd really like to see this as a viable bolt in option for these trucks !

Greetings from Annette Island Alaska. I found a comp. and was just checking in. Didn't see much traffic on the 6-speed conversion. The $$$$$$ is the culprit I'm sure but would love to see someone else do it. Thanks....

it would be a great tear-down/build-up for people like me...
i plan on having a 6 speed in my phoon, one day.
but the whole lack of funds makes that 'one day' seem pretty damn far away.

that's funny that's the tranny i'm going to use. in a custome pickup not a sy or ty. i will be using the ty engine in the truck. i have a 95 firebird with the 6 speed tranny and a jasper lt1. thinking of parting out or sell the whole car. i only have lean papers for it. if the price is right

I'm very interested in seeing how the trannyt is adapted to the transfer case. Could i see some pics? Deffently right on the cool factor and fun factor of shifting gears while also being awd! :tup:
