bad idle when i stop

when the truck is warm is idels fine but here latley when it gets started until 160 sometimes i will go slow into a turn and it will die. somedays it will do this but most days it wont. Any anwsers??

What setup do you have? Is it an aftermarket chip or stock? Any mods? If it idled ok before, it probably is an ignition problem of some kind. When was the last time you replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor?

Another thing to try is to pull the ECM fuses to clear the memory. Reinstall the fuses->start truck->let idle while turning on all accessories i.e. lights & A/C-> let idle for a couple minutes.

i put a pitbull chip and a 160 in a while ago and did not have any problems. I replaced the distibuter, cap, rotor, plugs,and wires just recently. They dont have 4k on them yet. Also when i have the air on it will not idle??

possibly a vacuum leak. get a stocker to replace the pitbull, better imo.

could be a million things, but since you were messing around some of the vac lines when doing ignition, might be just that.

Since you say this happens when you are in a turn, check how much weight you have on your keychain. Lots of keys will wear out the keyswitch cylinder.
