bad starter?

So I have a receipt that the starter was replaced about 6 months before I bought it. I had no issues. Now the cooler weather has set it and when I start the car the starter squeals like I was trying to crank it after its already started but then the car starts without issue. Is it time for another starter already? Is it possible for an adjustment? Am I missing something. The car starts and drives fine but its embarrassing with the loud noise that it makes

First off, you need to stop calling your Sy/Ty a car. If it had feelings, they would be hurt.

Did this noise start happening all of a sudden, or gradually over time? Does it do it every time you try to start it?

Seemed to start all of the sudden...doesn't happen all of the time but especially when it's been sitting for at least several hours. Right when it does turn over it makes that shriek and is then fine. If I shut the truck down and run inside somewhere for a quick errand and come back out to restart it, it usually wont do it.
