is that the same one you bought from me a while back? i tried emailin you to ask if you had it workin and the mail came back as undeliverable. i've been havin so much frickin trouble with my computer it's gettin outta control. i got virused BAD i guess. if it's the one he got from me it's a sbc id. i tried it on mine and it worked great. I don't know if i remember how to tell him how to hook it up bein that it's now been a long time since i did it. windedv6...you out there? don't you have one of these? how bout dave welsh? someones gotta remember how to set one of these up. it wasn't very hard when i did it
mount the box wherever you want it and then the controller too. they simply snap into each other. I put them both in the glove compartment because i was tryin to keep them out of the way and be a little stealthy. you need to go to a power source like the fuse box. as I recall all the wires connect to the little box not the controller which plugs into the box,.lattach the blitz solonoid somewhere by the turbo like the fenderwall. connect all the lines to the controller wires, and put the hoses from the turbo to the new solonoid. you do have to disconnect the original connections for the stock solonoid. the plug just snaps apart. theres only two ways to connect the hoses if I remember right. they have to do with whether or not you have an integral or external wastegate. you could call blitz-na.com at 626 839 8550 if you have any questions. if you are running a stock turbo or one of the pte it is probably an integral. it adjusts with a rod connected to the back of the turbo. you must adjust to rod to the proper functioning position. the unit will only work on manual for your application. the numbers in the display under boost have nothing to do with the boost setting as per pounds of boost. they are from 0 to 99 as i remember and going from 18 to 25 has no correlation with pounds. 25 will give you more boost but it will be more like 1 pound not 7. it is only 7 numbers more not 7 pounds. the gain is very important because it will help the boost come up faster.
as i remember the only thing confusing is gettin the hoses connected to the right places on the turbo and if you call them they can tell you how to do that in an instant. if I were you i think i woulod mount everything and get the power to it and get it turned on. mount the dual solonoid on the fenderwell and wire everything up except for the turbo connections and then call them and make sure you do it right. they are all marked
sorry if i got this stuff wrong guys cause it's been a long time since i did it and i don't have a setup to go look at. mine is totally different with the hks and bleede valve. somebody with an integral and an sbc id jump in here and give him a hand for me. that's about all i remember. let me know how you make out.
Yes it is the one I bought off you les , It work's great , I didnt know what the hell I was doing on setting it up (had no problem hooking it up ,but the setting up part suck's . I thank eveybody that help's me out ,I should have it all figured out by tomorrow . Does anyone know how this work's in conjunction with an ultimate ,or does it not make a difference . (I know guy's ,I should go back to school ,too old)
I know the current versions of the 50lb Ultimate chip do not have any boost control in them. Thus you need a alternate source of boost control.
Your MAP sensor will read boost levels send that info to the computer/ultimate chip and then more fuel will be added based on the amount of boost. Higher the boost the great the amount of fuel that will be added.
it will have no effect on the boost with your blitz because the new big solonoid is hooked up directly to the boost controller instead of the ecu. the blitz should put you in a whole different world of control over the ultimate. at least mine did.
you can lean it out or richen it up and change the timing now with the ultimate and use the blitz to control the boost. remember if you want to run higher timing and lean it out you must use more octane. do you have datamaster? you may want to have someone like nolan nykeforek in canada help you with a custom chip after you start getting the hang of it with the ultimate blitz combination. t1 numbers and settings with 93 octane gas, and more octane with the t2 and higher boost settings, and even higher octane if you need the t3. remember that within each setting of t1, t2, and t3 there are richer and leaner settings so don't go goofy with a change of from t1 16 at 12 pounds of boost to a setting of t3 and 20 pounds without doing some tuning or the next sound you hear will sound like "BOOM". you will also probably have to fine tune the fuel pressure a little when you start with the higher octane. can you run the unleaded or do you have a cat? lots of stuff to concentrate on here, so go slow
I have a data master , but havent used it yet ! get baffled at first on this stuff ,but catch on quick ,just real picky and dont want to f- anything up .
It doesen't seem to be idling correctly . Have it on t1 setting , Fuel pressure
should be at? Just got called back to work after a 5 month lay off ,I promise by march -april this will be going low to mid 10's Money comes and goes . I'll spend 10,000 on top of what I have spent already .I will take it slow ,and do it right . with all of you holding my hand .this is what it look's like when i work on my ty . Talk to myself :agrue: I think I'm losing it
