Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding my boost valve. I have a RPM stage 2 turbo and I am using a boostvalve to controll the boost with the internal waste gate provided with the RPM turbo. The boost valve works fine until I go over 20psi. At 19 psi, my boost is solid and stays @ 19psi. However, when I turn the boost up to 20 or more, I get a very inconsistant boost pressure. My boost may stay @ 21 psi and surge up and down between 21-23 psi. It kind of spikes up and down and I can feel it while driving the car. I can feel the boost spikes when I"m running through the rpms. I have zero KR via datamaster, afr - 11.0/1. What could be causing the surger over 20psi? I purchased the boost valve used so I wonder if the springs are warn? I"ve no ider of what's casuing the surge. It only happens when I adjust my boost pressure over 20 psi.
