if you bought the coil-overs from e-rue you should have gotten it in a word file or pdf..

page 4 in that thread has most of my write up.. i believe i expanded on it in the instruction manual with E-rue's kit.

I also know for a fact that e-rue has improved the kit, new parts, stonger, etc.. well worth it to buy the kit.

He also offers a dual spring kit, which is soft around town and firm when you get on it.

thank you, that brings a tear to my eye

if it is for the wife's truck, i'd consider the dual setup, unless the wife likes stiff rides :D

personally i prefer the single spring setup, but i also like to feel every bump and have stiff as hell handling. Both my father and my fiancee preferred the dual spring setup to the single spring setup.

Re: budget coil over article?

I went to the turbotime website, and their products page is down.

Just to clarify, and please correct me if I'm wrong, this is essentially what comes with the RPM front suspension kit, minus the tubular upper and lower control arms?

yes and no, e-rue does a few things differently.

you have to call turbotime, they stopped doing online sales awhile ago.

Maybe mine can be the other 25%. I did the dual spring coilover combo from TurboTime and loved it. Did very well in the Shindig auto-x as best performing stock motor/stock turbo truck (even with a blown out rear shock, failing stock brakes and no rear sway bar). I've since ordered the rear QA1's from them (not sure on doing the rear coilovers yet...).

Anyone know the price of the kit?

When I inquired in early 2009 the price of the kits at the time were $750 for either the front or rear kits.

Maybe if we have enough interest E-Rue would start up another Group Purchase.. I'd be in for sure on a front kit.

Re: budget coil over article?

Can I just buy the coilovers from rpm and use them with some poly bushings. Ofcourse you have to grind some spots ect. Anyone know how much rpm sells the coilovers for?
