i hope it dosent rain

Well, the weather man says it's rain today and tonight, but tomorrow should be okay, we'll see. Other than the truck getting wet driving in, we're good, we are in the tunnel, so we'll be out of the weather should it decide to pour. Usually if it looks like rain I toss a few jugs of distilled water in the trunk, and wash it off when I get parked. I got some stuff called Lucas Slick Mist...this is THE STUFF! Spray it on, microfiber towel off, looks like you just waxed! Can use on glass, everything, and helps take off water spots too. Really helps keep paint glossy between polishings. See ya tomorrow

Re: Charlotte Autofair - Sept 15

Thank you to all who came out, we had a great turnout and a nice day with no rain. The trucks looked great! Congratulations of Lee Dykes for winning Best Syclone / Typhoon!
We hope you all can come back in April, and may have to increase our turnout number yet again. We'd have had a full house if the dreaded AutoFair "curse" hadn't bitten a couple of members. I'll try to post some pics if they came out good, my camera wasn't behaving well. More pics will be loaded at the GM Turbo6 yahoo page also

any new meets coming up?
Well, it's been sort of quiet since AutoFair, several of the groups cars are down. I was talking to Conrad (he had the '84 GN w/ 87 drivetrain conversion at AutoFair) today, and we may try to do a meet at Morrow Mtn State Park near Albemarle later this month, I'll post here too if something gets planned. Other than that, we are DEFINTELY doing our annual Thanksgiving gathering. I'm going to post on yahoo group for possible dates for that. It will either be again at my house(in Trinity) or at Pat's in Randleman(so everyone can see the 2 brokedown black vehicles in his garage:D) This is a great meet, usually we have around 15-20 cars/trucks. Kevin(kh440 from turbobuick) is our master turkey fryer. We fry 2 turkeys and everybody brings something potluck & hangs out & pigs out. It is usually so good that everybody wants to do it again around Christmas or mid Jan at Conrad's shop in Albemarle. So stay tuned....
