If anyone is in need of a replacement grill I did some searching the other day and found these:

Eviltwin and I order a couple to see how they stacked up against the OEM grill. As many of you may already know the area where the GMC letters go is a little different and there are a few very minor imperfections from the molding process, but for $14 I can't complain.

It's funny too, because their shipping rates don't increase no matter how many you order (the handling does go up but, it's minimal) so if you go in with someone like we did they get even cheaper. :lol:

I've yet to install one on our trucks yet, but I will in a few weeks and can post up picks of fitment if anyone is interested.

Anyway thought I'd pass it along.

I have been looking for a grill that doest have the huge solid GMC emblem. My grill has been repaired but i would love another decent priced option. Thanks for posting this.

How hard was it to get the GMC logo mounted to it? In a review about it, it said not to buy it because of the emblem mounts.

Just found this one for $27, looks more like the stocker, and not a solid huge GMC...

What to do... order... both...

I have one and never used it..cant get the factory GMC lettering on..no room to install the nuts on the backside. Would have to adhere the letters to the grille, also I didn't like how the big block like section for the lettering..to easy for me to pickout a cheap aftermarket grille right off just by looking at it.

I ended up cutting it and outing a billet insert cause I could find a oem with the right letter but it looks good with the insert

No one really lives there so they don't need to ship. On second thought I don't even think it really exists, kinda like Atlantis.

The grille I ordered looks to be the same as the others posted. So it's different than the pic on the website showed. Other than the emblem mount it's a nice piece. Might still fix the stock grille, headed over to compare the two.

construction and plastic quality is fine, but i hate the center emblem area. Still not complaining for the ridiculously low price.

I still havent figured if im going to use the new one i ordered or not. Im leaning toward going with the stocker as most of the cracks are fixed already, only the corner bolt tabs need to be made. And just keeping the other on as a back up, and try to get new emblems mounted.

As cheap as both styles are, may as well buy one if you think you might need it.

K, update, got it on!

Interesting thing is my center looks different then Renz for some reason?

Problem one, there's no way in hell to get a socket in there to tighten the nuts on the back of the emblems. Even with a 1/4" drive 10mm, I had no luck, so I ended up epoxying the letters in place.

Oh and yes the clear lenses are no longer on the Sy, I swapped them on the Ty to clean it up and put the ambers back on the Sy.
