Chrome or silver?

Trying to decide on what wheels to put on the Ty.
I've found some I really like, but so far I've only found them in chrome.

Anybody with pics of chrome or silver wheels on their white/white Ty post 'em up, please.

Well I don't think there are many places that do real black chrome anymore.
And if it was, they would run a small fortune.
So they must be powdercoated with what they call "black chrome".
I thought about buying AFS C6 wheels in the black chrome, but read that their black chrome looks really crappy.

Will_in_China's old Ty had chrome stockers on it. They looked sweet... I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

Chrome on a white/white looks good. :tup:

you should see vinny's Ty. I can almost guarantee you will go for black wheels

I'm not a fan of black wheels. Thought about them for the Sy when I was looking & I just didn't car for them.

Next... moving on to tires.

I'm looking at 255/45/18 tires. The OAD is 27" on this tire.
Do you think they'll rub on the cladding?

I was always a fan of chrome. I am keeping my eyes open for a set of stock rims hopefully chrome if possible. When i bought my truck they came with the black wheels and no stockers. I do like it but i cant say if i had to make a choice if i was buying them from the start that i would go with black. First truck or even car that has black wheels. A big difference but it grows on you.

Yeah, those black wheels would grow on me. Just looking at it, I already like it.
I'm looking at a wheel though that I don't think anyone has yet. Hopefully.
