CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

Re: CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

Okay boys and girls...(while I can't take off work/duties to race Nov 2nd)
It might be possible to meet with ya'all somewhere prior to Byers that day
for a mini-get-together, breakfast, or cheerleading session (for
those registered to race-or-cheer). Don't quote me, but
I hear there are 28 confirmed entries (10 from first race, and 18
for second race, leaving only 2 pre-registration slots open @ $100 each).

A meet-n-great might allow me to get a cup of coffee
and frighten some novice drive-up window folks (with the Ty).
Granted, I have no idea where a convenient gathering hole might be
near or abouts Denver....but just a thought roaming around this brain
of mine. If not, no harm or foul.

Otherwise I'm tinkering with storage, and the prospects of preparing for the
Great White North Winter of 2013 (according to the Almanac its gonna be a lu-lu).
Gotta change the gas/oil in the snowblower (also green, as its a John Deere 2-stage)
It can break a window two stories up.....and is also minus any logo's/stickers :p.

Re: CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

I'm good with that. What's does everybody else think? weather says its going to be decent, sunny 0% chance of precipitation.

Also, can anyone bring a grill? I'll bring burgers and fixings, but bringing the grill in the Typhoon could be tricky.
By Friday I need a general head count. How many on your crew John?

Re: CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

I recently purchased my Syclone and want to attend your event at Mile HIgh today, however I will be coming from Denver and don't know where Mile High is?

I don't plan to race yet as I am just starting to modify my Syclone, it only has 60K miles on it, the original owner didn't use it much and stored it in his garage.

Can you give me some directions?

Thanks,

Jim

Re: CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

I shot some pics & video too.

Great!...Not to be an internet azz, but I'm guessing you'll be sharing your pics & videos ;)
BTW:

1. Did John challenge Tyler or Frost?
2. Has anyone seen the 1-10 or 1-20 round 2 final standings?
3. Any surprises (Sy, Ty, AWD, 2WD, etc).

Couldn't find any status updates on the web or facebook.
Scuba_Steve's GTR Nissan was s`pose to run (and be a favorite).
Lastly, hope the brief meeting at the Sonic (and chatting) was fun for everyone.
Also glad John got to race in good CO Weather. Awesome truck!

thx

Re: CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

John said he took 3rd place. I could only stay for a few test runs , however the field looked incredibly fast.
The GTR was badass! But prolly the coolest car there was a little black pickup.

Re: CO Outlaw/ SyTy BBQ

scubasteve not so fast after all (even tho i saw him pull multiple 9.5 runs last week in pueblo on same type of un prepped surface) he finished 6th overall of newcomers

tyler challenged, and took 1st. then john challenged frost. that one was to close to call, so frost kept his spot. then he challenged tyler, and won taking back first. john challenged tyler for #2, and tyler said his 2step not working and would not race...john got challenged by #4. Jon won. same standings

Larry/Jay/Stilla good to meet you. everybody else, good to see you. sorry I had to leave early. I looked around for people to say bye, but there were so many people, sorry.

I get my pics/vids up soon
