Cold air induction query

I stumbled across this on the web today and wondered if anyone had tried this particular one, (or anything resembling it.) I know that there are lot of diferent types out there, but I was wondering if it would be worth buying a kit and hacking it up to fit and if there would be any improved gains on whats already available ?????

Yep, I had seen that, it was actually that install that got me looking around for other ideas, rather than going along the same tried and tested route. I thought it might be an idea to branch out slightly and maybe try something different if enough people thought it was viable. I agree that the claims do seem rather inflated, but maybe worth a try????

Merk told me a while back about a brake duct kit for Vettes, that he thought would work great for CAI on our trucks. I'd love to find some easy way to get cold air in without hacking everything up or rearranging everything...

Thats what got me started looking for alternatives, figure in the 9-10 years since the 'birth' of our trucks, there must be some sort of technological advance off of atleast one vehicle that we could easily adapt to our own.

I`d be interested in what Merk thought might be of use.............

I lked the looks of Obijuan's setup until I noticed that the battery had
to be relocated. Have any of the guys come up with a good system
where U don't have to move the battery ?

KB offers a system which I heard some guys have modified ?

that is not my setup.
i believe that is turbotony's.
i did a search here and found that pic, i just posted it.

regarding the pcv's, there should be no problem so long as you put some breathers on.
