without this money pit and the fun it offers what the hell else are you going to waste your money and time on?? you'll get soo board and sick of everyday life without the rush of your ty and all it's issues and the fun times of wrenching or achieving and conquering this WTF problems on your own day in and day out.

would you really not mod any other vehicle you bought? at least the common parts for the trucks are easy to come by and cheap.

Yeah really, I actually thought about that and came to the conclusion Ild either hang myself or become a proud wife beater!! :lol:

I've had the same thoughts about mine (but with less drama). It's funny, I traded a 4-cyl Honda (plus a bunch of cash) for my Typhoon 7 years ago. At the same time, we had a 3000 GT VR4 for my then-wife. When our baby came, she wanted me to sell the Typhoon to replace it with a "family car". I argued that the Ty would hold its value better than the 3000 GT (it did), and it was actually usable as a family car. She actually brought that part up again during the divorce ;)

Yesterday I stopped by an auto parts store, picking up a distributor cap and rear brake shoes for the Typhoon (going to try using long shoes x2 on the rear). Every single employee (6 of them) came out to check it out in the parking lot. It's times like that when I know it's worth keeping (especially when my 5-year-old daughter gets to share in the experience).
