fellow sytyers....i'm leaving around teh 4th of jan....trip will be from Seattle, WA to Rochester, NY......will be going with AAA and a cell phone.
any adivce, smart ass comments, or anything?

We have a strong showing in Rochester, NY Tom Mandrov lives and works there. I frequent there and my Sy is stored there. We will have to hang out. Also bring you winter gear.

I did the x-country deal not too long ago to get Boostn's Syclone. I actually went farther than you (by only a few miles) in that I went from portland, to Conneticuit. Bring a bunch of (recorded on) CDR's and go like 85mph thru WY and ID and you'll be ok .

yup trans fixed in about 2 weeks...i'm currently in Rochester, will lfy back to pick her up and go.....looking forward to ID, Montana, ND.........85+...........i'll let ya guys know when i make it!

please consider taking
a heat source, possibly a couple 12 hours candles and chemical pocket heaters.
thermal blankets, mylar wrap.
signaling devices, whistle, flares, mirror.
I've been acrossed twice from Seattle to Norfolk in late Dec., had no problems.
I'd like to meet some of the syty people in Seattle area.

Hey TY1924, are you in the Seattle area? I'm up in Abbotsford, BC, I'd like to meet up with any SyTyers in the NW area. My Sy is off the road for the winter, but I dont think I'll be able to wait very long to re-insure it once the new year comes around.
