curious about a wire

while i had my computer out of my dash i noticed there's a white wire with a connector just dangling around there anyone have a clue on what it is?

probably like the wire under the driver's side carpet... it's there, it doesn't hook to anything, and no one knows why.

Wonder if it's a connector from the female side of the seat belt to tell when the belt is latched.

that wire plugs into the top of the light thats in that area. I had the same thing and it took me forever to figure out where it went.(actually had to go and look at another truck I had sitting here)
