custom fuel injection

im in the process of building my turbo/fuel injection set up on my 4.3. i have a edelbrock pn#2111 manifold, my question is can i use a fuel rail/injectors/comuter from a 96 vortec 4.3 by drilling holes for the injectors then mount the fuel rails and be done as far as mounting goes? what sensors do i need for the fuel injection to operate somewhat normally? what do i do for a throttle body?
ive seen a edelbrock carb manifolds with fuel injectors mounted in them but was never sure on how they did it. i want to keep it as simple (not concerned about emissions) and clean looking as possible...like a race setup
thanx

take it to a machine shop and have them weld bungs in for the injectors. then make an upper intake manifold similar to the buicks and have a throttle body that faces the front of the truck(like the buicks) this is how i would do it if i were you. not sure about what fuel rail to use though. take a look at a buick 3.8t to see what i mean about the intake and tb.

I would take the rpm manifold and drill/weld in the injector bosses. Build a fuel rail for it. Use the accell plenum top with a gm dual blade throttle body. You will need IAC, and TPS. Your stock sensors should work.

I would suggest a FAST system, as it will be the cheapest and easiest way to dial in your setup over time.
