most of the things that are 'tested' aren't tested under boosted conditions though. I will take it into consideration when building it though. Just shoot a water hose full blast into the intake and see how the water flows...thats a good test right? :lol:

its not made anymore. finding them is tough.

all i'm interested in is the top section/upper intake...so i don't care if its for bbc/sbc. :tup:

already have my flanges for making my option #1:

But i'm not looking to pay someone $500 to weld me an elbow either...I'd much rather build it myself and spend way less $

how cheap is cheap? If others are interested in getting this we could just setup a group buy for them. I personally am going to stick to the syty lower intake, so this carb-type elbow isn't worthwhile for me.

what if i sent all the pieces need to construct it...and it just needed to be welded together. I have everything to make my #1 option - and was going to cut out the template pieces this weekend to see how it'd look.

Any guess on labor charge to weld it? I don't want to pay 15hrs of $ if its only gonna take 3hrs :lol:
