ok....so here it goes.
I've been using datamaster for about a week now to tune my typhoon. straightened out a few problems to the best of my knowledge. One of them being a huge overboost issue which i corrected last night.....it was boosting at some points to 23 psi ( pretty much stock everything on truck).......
made the wastegate adjustment a few times with inner fender off (easier than i thought). made a few datamaster runs this morning and noticed these issues:
new autometer boost guage will read about 11 0r 12lbs on 1/4 mile run ( launching at 0 boost)...but datamaster shows it to be in the 7-8 range...which is correct?..and what could the problem be?
when i am on the highway in D or OD...and ease onto the gas (ultimately at 100% tps)...it will boost to 13ish.
My questions are, why am i not getting full psi at 1/4mi runs, but i can get it on the highway, and what should i do to correct it?
.and oh yea...got pulled over doing 98mph past a New york state trooper while logging this morning in 35 degree weather....story for another post.
