I have nothing to prove, no sense in beating my truck for no reason. I like to go on friday nights anyway.
But tell ya what ....I'm kinda of competetive so.... we each put up a $100.00 we'll race each other say three times, heads-up, best out of three wins. Red light and you lose.
So for TWO races your hundred bucks will bye me admission to Atco, race gas and beers for everyone who attends HOOTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

however i do think we should talk to the track officials:
we all make some time runs, then we have our own bracket ladder.
And if yall want we could have a nominal entry fee of say 10 bucks.
That way no one spends a lot but the winner gets the pot. or we can come up with percentages for the various top 4 spots.

like i said, we gets some time runs to establish a dial in. then provding track oficials work with us Im sure we can do our own mini braket race.

I'll be there but if yall want to do this make a head count and we can call ahead to let em know. otherwise we can allways ask when we get there.

i had a customer this am from atco. i asked him if he had been by the track to notice if it was clear. he told me he would call when he got home

so heres your up to the minute track report:

ATCO is totally clear with no snow in the pits or on the track.

ITS ALIVE. i put a the original starter back in,rebuilt, and the truck starts up every time...
so ill be there. maybe atco, definitly HOOTERS, but im under age and dont drink so that puts me in an elite group of SY/TYer's

think my buddy is gonna come to Atco in the morning with me before hooters. He drives a Z-28....wants to show us how its done :roll:

heres what you 2 gotta do for your drinkin match.

lets figure a guy in his 20years can do 4 beer per hour and a guy in his 40's does 1 beer per hour. You allready see whats comin.
Hooters starter (waitress) will have to change the rate that they bring you 2 the beers, just like brackets at atco. at noon they will give morgan his 1st. at 1245 they will give morgan his 3rd, and at the same time mike starts off with his 1st. by 3 pm there should be a definite winner.

Only problem i foresee is makin it down the return road. Just not quite sure if morgan will be able to even speak to pickup his ticket somplace on rt 70 east. So we might have to make a slight adjustment to the dial in for the tree. Either way i think theres a way to make this work with the age (dial in) differences here.
