Do Xtreme's always try to race you guys too?

I have had my truck for almost a month and a half and I have had 4 try to race me and 1 with his friends give me bad looks in a Whataburger Parking lot!

I think it is hilarious when they try to run though! :D Does this happen to you guys too? I figure that they are VERY uninformed and think it is just an old version of there extreme...

by the way, that is ALMOST all the vehicles that have tried to race me. The only other two things was one of those V8 Jeep Cherokees (I beat him by around 10 car lengths!

And the only real good race was against an 87 Buick Regal Turbo T. This guy had turbo upgrade, heads, cam, Drag Radials and was running alky. I think I suprised him, I was on his rear bumper until the end of the race (around 85mph)...

the new prototype blazer ZO6 and the EXtreme ZO6 if they ever make them will kill every thing, mabey not a sy or ty off the line but 405hp in a little 2door blazer and s-10, they will kill the srt ram IMHO

My Grand Cherokee has the 5.9 engine and it will blow away the other v8s in the Cherokees... My Syclone runs circles around my 5.9 Jeep. The FASTEST I ever heard of any stock Jeep run is JUST under 15 seconds in the 1/4.

I had an X blazer try to race me on Rt 9 on the way home from Englishtown last Saturday. No chance at all. They do look cool, it's a shame they're pussy under the hood.

I got a guy right down the block from me with a S10X, I was washing the Ty on SUnday and he pulled up infront of my driveway, I figured to talk, but when I walked torwards him he took off. I dont know if he saw me or not. I do know he use to stop by my Stang too, could be just a car nut and didnt see me on Sunday.

I know that if there was a Sy or Ty anywhere near me, I'd have to stop and drool every time I saw it.

I doubt hes dumb enough to F with nich hes a big guy. :eek: (professional body builder), I didnt know you could get paid for it.

My brother has a 2001 Xtreme Blazer. Good looking truck. Tried to race me a few times. Tough to find performance parts for it (similar to when I bought my Ty new back in 1992) Had to hack up the exhaust system and have new tail pipe made to go with a performance muffler. Went with one of those K&N air filter systems. Must get a Hypertech programmer to eliminate speed limiter. Engine cuts out totally at 5000 rpm. Like someone said, supercharger available but it will not make truck into a Ty. If GM ends up stuffing the v8 into it, could be a lot more competitive.
